Pico projectors have always been good enough to gain the attention of the smartphone users. A good quality projector in your smartphone is what everyone would like to have. Such smartphones have been in the market for quite some time now, but they never attracted as much attention as they should have. Now, Hong Kong’s Conplex International is hoping to obtain the necessary attention needed for such technology. Going into a meeting with just your smartphone for a presentation and enjoying videos and photos with friends on a large projected display, is something that every user wants, and Conplex is hoping to provide all these, to tempt the buyers to get the MagicOn Ayane smartphone.
With dimensions as 125.5 x 65 x 13mm (4.9 x 2.6 x 0.5 in), Ayane comes in black and gray. It supports dual sim and a 4 inch screen with 800 x 480 resolution having multi-touch support. There’s a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor on an MTK 6589 chipset that is assisted by 1 GB RAM and included storage of 4 GB, also supporting MicroSD expansion. It runs android Jelly Bean, and the rest of the components are more or less quite common, the usual wifi component (802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi), Front (5MP) and Back (0.3 MP) cameras. But the battery is quite heavy. Supporting a 2000 mAh battery, Ayane smartphone is surely going to provide a good battery time.
Though it might not be able to compete in the big league with Samsung, HTC and Apple smartphones, but the DLP technology does make the buyer consider.
Ayane currently runs in the US for $499. Smartphone accessories are also available such as atri pod for projecting stuff. You can also buy a Bluetooth gaming pad for ease.
