Meet Nebia shower that is currently raising funds on Kickstarter and has almost raised $3 million while their initital goal was only $100,000. The aim of this showerhead is to cut down water usage during showers down by 70%. It achieves this by atomizing water into millions of tiny droplets that have a surface area ten time that of a conventional shower. So, in essence the device works more like a sauna.

The first units of Nebia were available at a pledge of $249, however, now they are available at $299. This price is still less than the planned retail price of$399. As per the manufacturers, a Nebia showerhead that is used four times in a day will eventually pay for itself in a time period of 3 years.
