Now that’s what I call hardcore fandom! A father and son have come up with a real life transformer-inspired Praimov as they converted their old VAZ-2110 Lada into a morphing robot. The robot is also equipped with fully automated weapons and is a slight variation of the Optimus Prime character from the comic movie franchise. The old automobile is named “Optimus Gennadievich Praimov”, of course!

“It looks like a world-class car, it can drive and shoot, it performs the same tricks as seen in the film, in the cartoons”, said Kocherga.

Apart from the morphing skills, the robot is laden with real automatic weapons under its bonnet that can blow away anything in its way! *Goosebumps*.

The transformer car was flaunted around some Russian cities and at the Oryol stunt show in Russia. Kocherga and his son are now looking to planning to turn more cars into Transformers characters next year. He said,

“The next year, we plan to build another two cars, based on the same concept. We already have a lot of quirky ideas”.

Can’t wait for the upcoming masterpieces, although it would be a good idea to skip on the firearms next time ’round!
