Elon Musk Says The Tesla Bot Will Be Ready In A Year, But Will That Actually Happen?

But that’s too soon for robotic world domination?!

If you haven’t been following the news lately, Elon Musk, recently announced the humanoid “Tesla Bot” at the “AI Day” event, receiving mixed views from the public. And if a five-foot-eight inches robot as your personal assistant wasn’t concerning enough, Elon then tried to reassure everyone that they would “most likely” be able to beat the robot in a fight if it ever turned against them. (scaring the people might not be the best marketing strategy). And now it seems like Musk can’t contain his excitement anymore and says that a Tesla Bot prototype would be ready by next year…

Let’s just say when it comes to Elon Musk and his announcements, he doesn’t have a good record of keeping those promises or delivering a product on time. Remember the oh-so-famous Cybertruck and its infamous “unbreakable window glass” that shattered not once but twice during the event? Or Musk’s predictions in 2014 about full self-driving systems in 2020 that would allow passengers to get in the car, go to sleep, and wake up at their desired destinations?

It’s not wrong to say that Musk was a little off about those predictions since self-driving cars are still in the early development stages and never in your sane mind should you try to go to sleep while its driving cause let’s be fair, the self-driving cars don’t have a really good record of staying on track and you might just reach your final destination altogether. So, do you believe the Tesla Bot would be up and running by next year or would it be just another victim of those unrealistic expectations set by Elon Musk from his development team?
