Everyone is always in search of a better phone, one with the latest technology, better specs than its predecessors. ZTE has unveiled the latest member of its ‘mass market premium’ Blade family, the Blade S6.
The ZTE Blade S6 is all about a high-end phone with high-end specs but a price that’s affordable. The phone gets you a 720p 5 inch screen, 64 bit Snapdragon 615 processor, 4G mobile internet and a top notch camera for a fraction of the price of other phones.
The phone also features Android Lollipop, along with the MiFavor 3.0 custom UI. This adds plenty of gesture controls as well as a different look. It offers a 5 megapixel selfie camera and the same IMX214 13 megapixel main camera sensor seen in more expensive phones. According to ZTE, the Blade S6 4G LTE is targeted mainly towards young people.
ZTE will show the new Blade S6 during MWC 2015 in March, before putting it on sales later this year. It will be available in silver and matte pink. The operating system gives you Smart Sense, which lets you launch apps, like the music player or flashlight, with gestures such as flicking your wrist. The company has sold more than 20 million Blade series units so far globally, proving that the Blade brand and product have been quite successful. The ZTE Blade S6 will be available for $250 and it will ship globally from AliExpress, while in some markets, customers will be able to get it from Amazon and eBay. The company would like to deliver quality to the masses without chopping off an arm and leg.
