Watch What Happens When You Explode 1500 Tubes Of Colour And Capture It In Slow Motion

Have you ever wondered what 1500 individual tubes housing colored powder getting detonated within half a second of each would look like? That is indeed very specific and something hard to imagine, right? Well, here’s the good news; you don’t have to imagine the scenario. Thanks to the Slow Mo Guys, you can check out what the outcome looks like in their featured video.

The Slow Mo Guys is a YouTube channel that features color loving presenters that have created an addiction kind of video featuring 1500 tubes getting detonated with half a second interval between each detonation.

For this particular video, the best friends duo went out to the Texas desert and made use of electric detonation techniques in collaboration with a phantom 4K camera for capturing this magical moment. The large strip of colors goes with a loud bang, but the actual delight of the video comes when the video goes into the super slow motion and shows you what has happened in the fraction of a second!

We don’t really know why colored smoke looks so mesmerizing. We don’t even know why is it that we are unable to take our eyes off of it. What we do know is that it looks wonderfully beautiful. You can even see a rainbow cloud that just rides across the flat landscape. There is something definitely poetic about this video!

For those of you who are not familiar to the Slow Mo Guys, we suggest you take a look at their latest videos under the heading of Planet Slow Mo. Trust us; it is worth the effort folks. Their content goes from a thermal geyser to the opening of a condom in a wind tunnel. Bottomline? They are great at capturing phenomena that are not only educational but also silly and fun. Check out the detonation video below and let us know what you think of this amazing video!
