Nebia Showerhead Raises $3 Million On Kickstarter 4

No one can dispute the importance of water and subsequently the importance of saving water when it comes to our daily activities. Speaking of daily activities, can you think of one that wastes most of the water? Yes, showers! However, what if we told you there was a new gadget in town that can cut down water usage by 70%?

Meet Nebia shower that is currently raising funds on Kickstarter and has almost raised $3 million while their initital goal was only $100,000. The aim of this showerhead is to cut down water usage during showers down by 70%. It achieves this by atomizing water into millions of tiny droplets that have a surface area ten time that of a conventional shower. So, in essence the device works more like a sauna.

The first units of Nebia were available at a pledge of $249, however, now they are available at $299. This price is still less than the planned retail price of$399. As per the manufacturers, a Nebia showerhead that is used four times in a day will eventually pay for itself in a time period of 3 years.

The only question is, will you be willing to purchase a showerhead costing $400 only to be able to save water? We think you should make this investment, do let us know what you think!
