This Is How Tesla Pranked Fans Before The Unveiling Of Model Y

Tesla’s PR department was kind enough to hide a secret message within the invitation teaser that was sent out to guests that were slated to attend the Model Y launch at LA Design Studios on Thursday. Once again, the company run by Elon Musk has demonstrated that they are a group of nerds that we have come to know and love so dearly!

Look at that image. It is obvious that many of the recipients would have wanted to take a peek behind the shadows, right? Among such curious recipients was the YouTube user Marques Brownlee (MKBHD). He tinkered with the image by making use of the built-in picture editor tool of the iPhone.

He was hoping to recover some details by brightening the image or making fine adjustments to the shadows. What he ended up witnessing is something that brings out the smiles in everyone. Folks at Tesla are well aware of their audience and were playful up to the point where they had a secret little message waiting to be discovered by the curious nerds.

Up until the launch of the Model 14th March, ‘Nice Try’ is all that we got from Tesla. No concrete information has been revealed about Model Y except that it is an SUV that has been built on the design of Model 3. Elon Musk has stated that it will be 10% bigger and 10% more expensive than the Model 3.

Not too much is known about the soon to be available Model Y. It is an SUV which is built on the design of the long-awaited and finally available Model 3. In another message, Elon Musk has said that ‘The Model Y will not have any leather in it, even in the steering wheel … even if it does have a steering wheel.’

What is confirmed is the fact that the Model 3 and Model Y will be sold under the cost of $40,000. This means that electric vehicles are entering an era where they can be bought by a wider part of the community.
