There are a number of times when you just can’t wait to get home so you can just jump in the shower. You might not have to wait that long anymore. You can take a relaxing hot shower before driving all the way to your home. This has been made possible by the portable Geyser System.

There are other portable showers out there that either warm the water from the sun or via a generator. The portable Geyser System is different in the respect that it has a built-in heating element that is powered by the user’s car’s 12-volt DC power supply.

It is very easy to use and you can begin by adding one gallon of water to the system and then plug it into the car’s outlet to switch on the element. Depending on the initial temperature of the water, the portable Geyser System can heat the water to 35 degrees Celsius in 15 to 35 minutes.

The users can then switch from heat to pump mode when they are ready. This starts pumping the heated water through the attached hose into a sponge at the end which is used for washing. It has a variable rate at which it can pump water ranging from .06 to 1 gallon per minute.

There are three onboard thermostats which indicate when the water is ready to be used and a sensor warns when the water is getting low and switches off the heating element. Another sensor in the lid also shuts off the heating element if it detects that the lid is not properly secured.

One thing that you need to keep in mind is that the Geyser system does not have a battery of its own and constantly needs to be connected to the car battery and the car needs to be running so the battery doesn’t drain out. It is currently a Kickstarter campaign and you can get your hands on one with a pledge of $195 with delivery estimated in January 2019. You can check out the promo video below:
