The exploding Galaxy Note 7 was probably the biggest disaster that Samsung has caused to date, but that does not mean people are losing trust in the company. The Galaxy S8 remained one of the most awaited phones of the year and the company delivered on its promises with the official reveal on March 29, 2017. The company has confirmed that it will be revealing the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 before the Galaxy S8 makes it to the market.
We can only expect a few things; the phone won’t explode, and it looks the same as the old one. DroidHolic obtained leaked images of the phone, with original looks, but an added ‘R’ at the back of the phone, that stands for refurbished. Some sources say that the phone is already being sold in China even though Samsung has not announced any date for the sales yet.
The images of the phone have been captured apparently in use, so there is little chance that they have been faked. Except, these could be the pictures of the original explosive Galaxy Note 7. No images show details of the battery information so we can not know for sure. However, we do know for a fact that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will have a 3,200 mAh battery, 300 mAh short of the original one.
There are no details as to when the phone will be available for purchase.
