Tesla Has Been Spotted Building A Fleet Of 25 Cybertrucks Ahead Of Its Launch

In preparation for the much-anticipated launch event of the Tesla Cybertruck on November 30, the electric car manufacturer has been observed assembling a sizable fleet of over 25 Cybertrucks at its Gigafactory Texas. The event marks the culmination of years of anticipation, waiting, and some delays for the release of the distinctive electric pickup truck.

Despite the excitement surrounding the launch, speculation has arisen about whether Tesla would initially deliver the Cybertruck exclusively to its employees and company insiders, as the automaker has yet to disclose detailed specifications and pricing for the production version of the vehicle. Recent observations at Gigafactory Texas have indicated a significant number of Cybertrucks in production, raising hopes among enthusiasts for a substantial initial delivery.

However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has cautioned against high expectations for the initial production rate of the Cybertruck. Musk foresees a gradual increase in production capacity, suggesting that volume production might not be achieved until approximately 18 months into the production timeline.

Adding to the information available, Tesla’s product design director, Javier Verdura, revealed that the company plans to deliver only the first 10 Cybertrucks at the launch event. This announcement disappointed some who had hoped for a larger surprise delivery.

Nonetheless, Tesla’s proactive production efforts are evident in the creation of an impressive number of Cybertrucks ahead of the launch, in addition to the dozen units that have been delivered to Tesla stores across North America in the preceding weeks. The company has also conducted extensive testing, producing several hundred trucks for the Cybertruck test program over the past year.

While the exact number of Cybertrucks to be delivered at the launch event may be limited, the focus remains on how quickly Tesla can scale up deliveries to customers. The recent surge in Cybertruck sightings and production is seen as a positive indicator, offering hope for an accelerated delivery ramp-up in the near future.
