Pininfarina Unveils The Battista – A Futuristic Luxury Electric Car

At VIP events during the Monterey Car Week, Automobili Pininfarina has recently unveiled its latest Battista hypercar and the company’s Pura Vision future plans for its luxury electric cars. The Battista hypercar will cost $2 million and has been termed as the world’s first electric hypercar that will be capable of achieving a top speed of 250 mph.

Michael Perschke, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, hosted a series of invite-only events at the House of Automobili Pininfarina. During these events, Perschke took the veils off of the Battista electric car that has an enhanced front design. He also discussed the company’s strategy while showing off the Pura Vision design model to the attendees.

During a press statement, Luca Borgogno, who is a design director, said, ‘It was a dream to present the latest version of Battista and the PURA Vision design model here in Pebble Beach. Battista is the hypercar that proves it is possible to design a beautiful, high-performance EV, and it has won the hearts of our clients in North America. PURA Vision is absolutely an insight into our future; a luxury vehicle like no other, designed to deliver thrilling EV performance.’

Automobili Pininfarina also showcased its cars including the Battista at Monterey Car Week. The Battista hypercar by the company has zero-emission thrusts. The electric is capable of generating 1,900 hp/2,300 Nm torque. It can go from rest to the speed of 100 km/h in under two seconds but still offers a range of 450 kilometers on a single charge thanks to its 120 kWh Li-ion battery pack.

The Battista will be released in 2020 as a luxury car. As of right now, it is the most powerful road-legal car to be ever designed and built in Italy as per Automobili Pininfarina. What do you think of this amazing car?
