Microsoft Deletes All Comments Under Heavily Criticised Windows 11 Video

Is Microsoft pretending there’s nothing wrong with such a steep dislike percentage? Are they trying to silence those who disagree? These are the questions that recently escalated because of the Win11 controversy.

Recently Microsoft has been accused of censoring the constructive voices by deleting people’s comments bitterly complaining about the new Windows 11 upgrade. However, the company is reported to get the situation under control by getting back to each disappointed customer with incompatible hardware devices.

Today, Win11 is one of the top trending topics in technology worldwide. Ever since people started showing their dislike towards Windows 11, Microsoft Corp. has pretended to be tone-deaf to the whole situation. However, recently, after a video was published discussing the Windows 11 features in detail, the company has dealt with countless unhappy customers’ reactions.

According to the users, upgrading to the Win11 is almost exactly like using Windows 10, with apps like TaskBarX, PowerToys, ModernFlyouts etc., except it’s just in different icon packs. The company is blamed for not adding functional and usability features to the system. No software UI element consistencies are fixed either. In addition, Windows 11’s system requirements cannot be bypassed in the final version of the operating system.

Microsoft has addressed the issue quite aggressively, which was not expected out of the company. Microsoft employee Aria Carley addressed the situation, saying,

“So we talk about this new hardware floor of what devices are eligible and which aren’t. And we know it sucks that some aren’t going to be eligible for Windows 11. But the reason we’re doing that is to keep devices more productive, have a better experience, and most importantly have better security than before so they can stay protected in this new workforce.”

Further, responding to whether these safeguards can be bypassed via a group policy edit, Carley said,

“That group policy will not enable you to get around the hardware enforcement for Windows 11. We’re still going to block you from upgrading your device to an unsupported state since we really want to make sure that your devices stay supported and secure.”

Due to the heavy criticism, Microsoft has closed the comment section under the YouTube video. In addition, it also deleted all previously posted comments. Of course, Microsoft didn’t expect to get only 100 likes compared to whopping 1000 dislikes on its video. The controversial windows update has been at the fore of Microsoft’s mounting problems regarding the Windows 11 upgrade. However, what is certain is the fact that the tech giants are not going to give in to this hitch and will come back stronger with a solution to this problem.
