LG has launched its first gaming laptop, the ‘UltraGear 17G90Q,’ which features an 11th generation Intel processor.
The LG 17G90Q gaming laptop has a 1,920 x 1,080 IPS panel with a 1 millisecond response time and a refresh rate of 300Hz. It is powered by an Intel Tiger Lake H processor and an NVIDIA GeForceTM RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card from the 11th generation.
With its M.2 Dual SSD slots, the laptop offers up to 1TB of storage and comes with two dual-channel DDR4 RAM options: 16GB and 32GB (NVMe).
It includes a vapour chamber that, according to the company, keeps the laptop cool even when pushed to its limits.
LG, the electronics titan, has joined the gaming laptop market with what appears to be a really beautiful machine. The company is recognised for producing a wide range of electrical products, including washing machines, refrigerators, soundbars, and some of our favourite gaming televisions. While LG has produced a number of laptops in the past, this is the first to be designated as a gaming laptop. Given the specifications, it’s also reasonable.
LG’s latest gaming laptop joins the UltraGear series of devices, which includes the LG UltraGear 32GP850-B gaming monitor.
The news comes just a few weeks before the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES), when the 17G90Q is expected to make an appearance. LG set a challenge for itself by trying to fit larger, hotter components into the ultra-slim Gram chassis, a task made considerably more difficult by the 17G90massive G’s 17.3-inch display. LG had previously perfected its svelte design on the Gram 17, which now weighs just under 3 pounds and measures only 0.70 inches thick in its latest generation.
LG’s gaming software, LG UltraGear Studio, further optimises the gaming experience by allowing users to set gaming-related choices and track a range of performance metrics in real-time, including CPU clock, GPU TDP and clock, and memory share rate. Users can also choose and apply a different colour to each key of the laptop’s beautiful RGB keyboard for a truly unique arrangement.
With its built-in 2 Way speaker system, the LG UltraGear gaming laptop provides realistic, three-dimensional sound in addition to next-level personalisation, speed, and outstanding picture quality.
