China Launches The Worlds First 6G Satellite Into The Orbit

The launched 6G satellite is equipped with a technology that will help monitor crops and prevent forest fires.

On the 6th of November, the Asian giant China has successfully launched a satellite in outer space, aiming to test their developed 6G technology. And the news is a shocker, as the world hasn’t even seen 5G technology implemented properly till now and 6G satellite launches in orbit.

The modern cutting-edge technology satellite was sent to the space venture along with another twelve satellites. And the launch took place from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China’s Shanxi province.

It is being called the UESTC satellite, named after the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Its key role would be to test out the 6G frequency band performance in space.

5G technology is expected to come as ultra-fast; imagine what a 100 times faster technology than that would do. About what is known till now, its impressive data transmission speeds would be achieved using high-frequency terahertz waves.

Dangerous For Humans

The 6G tech being trialed now has thin chances of getting to its final stages. As fears already prevail on 5G technology being dangerous for humans, making it safe to assume those fears will be intensified with 6G tech.

Federal Communications Commission has been appealed by nearly 215 scientists to consider health risks and environmental issues before shifting to 5G. A similar amount or even more are expected to raise concerns for the Chinese 6G satellite too.
