Almost The Entire Internet Could Be Generated By AI Soon, Experts Say

Human capacities are being enhanced by digital life, but for thousands of years, human activities are being disrupted. In pervasive knowledge and connection, software systems have reached more than half of the world’s population, presenting unprecedented scale potential as well as enormous hazards. Will humans be better off than they are now when new automated process artificial intelligence (AI) spreads?

The online world has already had a tremendous influence on society. And we’re more connected as much as we’ve been: 3.6 billion people, or a good chunk of the world’s population, are online. According to Gartner, by 2020, there were 12.86 billion Sensor nodes in service. Being completely isolated from the internet is unprecedented in most regions. Only 11% of the adult population in the United States isn’t using the web at all. When it comes to teenagers, the percentages are much higher: 95% of them own or have access to a mobile phone, and 45% of them are “invariably” online.

According to CIFS specialist Timothy Shoup, by 2025 to 2030, 99 percent to 99.9 percent of the internet’s content will be AI-generated, especially if models like OpenAI’s GPT-3 gain traction. Having AIs develop online material isn’t always a negative thing. In principle, these findings might lead to the creation of more inclusive virtual worlds based on factors such as gender, color, and culture. And tools like Codex, which Hvitved claims enables GitHub engineers to write up to 30% of their software by typing solely in plain human language, have the potential to open up great innovative areas to a far larger number of individuals.

AI is no longer only a technological advancement; it is quickly becoming a part of our everyday lives. Every day, new developments in every field of life, from politics to economics, are made. Thanks to technology, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, we may now instantly access a variety of previously unreachable regions (IoT).   In reality, AI systems are developed to understand unstructured material such as basic language, social networking sites, and email replies.

To conclude, technology is merely a means to an end. Its goal is to make people’s lives better. Evolution, on the other hand, is a process. We develop new methods to characterize the connected experience as technology develops. Using machine learning techniques, we’ll be able to provide each user with a more advanced experience in real-time. Every time we go online, we will receive a personalized feed of information aimed at making our lives easier and more enjoyable.
