A staircase is one of the most underestimated components of architecture that you only learn to appreciate once you step on a poorly designed stairway, which almost has you tripping. A stairway does the simplest job of helping you transcend or descend to another floor, but if they are designed well, they can even become the beautiful centrepiece of an otherwise ordinary architectural piece.
Genius designers have managed to convert a stairway into a packed storage space or just used a small space to make an eye-catching piece of art. We have picked a few of the unusual ones, some of which may even confuse you.
