Drones are doing amazing tasks like delivering lab samples, delivering packages, defibrillators, but the most popular one remains photography. A Paris-based Instagram-like photo sharing website Dronestagram has seen the best photos captured by drones. The website arranges contests in many categories to highlight the best images taken by both amateurs and professional photographers who have been experimenting with drones around the world.
National Geographic photo editors have selected the best pictures of 2017 in different categories, from thousands of submissions and these go along with the descriptions by the photographers themselves:
The categories include Nature, People, Urban, and the newest category is Creativity.
