Woman Rents Ex-Boyfriend’s Car, Runs 49 Red Lights To Get Revenge On Him

Woman Takes Revenge: Rents Ex-Boyfriend’s Car, Runs 49 Red Lights in 2 Days

For some people, Karma has not done the job well enough, so they turn to revenge. However, it’s bizarre how far can one go! A Chinese woman recently got arrested after renting her ex-boyfriend’s car and deliberately running dozens of red lights to get back at him.

The local police spotted the car after it had broken traffic rules 50 times in just two days. The car ran the red light 49 times and also oversped once.

According to a report by the Global Times, the angry woman surnamed Lou belongs to Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province in eastern China and wanted to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend who left her. To get back at him, she took advantage of the law and rented a car owned by him. She asked a man called Chen to rent her former partner’s Audi via an online car renting app. Chen then handed the car to another man named Zhu, who used the car in a two-day marathon, committing traffic offences with Lou’s car.

After the police saw the erratic behaviour, they started searching the offender’s records and found out that vehicle had been rented by a guy named Chen from its owner, Qian. During the investigation, Chen spilled out everything and told the officers that he had rented this specific car at the call of a friend named Zhu.

The cops then interrogated Zhu, who confessed the reason behind his ridiculous behaviour. He said that he was pursuing Lou for a long time, and she agreed to go out with him only if he helped her get revenge from Qian in this manner.

Lou and the car owner, Qian, had dated for a while, but Qian eventually left her for other women, which irritated Lou. Apparently, she thought the best way to get back at him was to “earn” him fines for a bunch of traffic violations, like running 49 red lights in two days, the Global Times reported.

The woman planned everything to rack up fines in a bid just to spite her ex, and it’s just crazy!
