Whatsapp, the most popular messaging app has started group audio call feature for iPhone users. iPhone users will be able to make audio calls to multiple contacts at the same time. The update has been released through a server-side update. The interface of the group audio call is similar to the current interface of the audio calls in Whatsapp. The limit to add members to the group call has not been defined yet. There are buttons below the DP of the participants, which enable the speaker and mute them and start the video call.
The feature is rolling out for iPhone version 2.18.60 and has been updated by only a few users. The same version also has the new “Request Account Info feature” in it. This allows the users to request a report for their account information and settings. Users can also download the account data of Whatsapp.

The feature is expected to work just like Skype group call. The users will be able to add other users to the call. If you are on a call with your friend, you can add other friends to the call as well by simply pressing the add button and start the group call which will include 3 of your other friends.
