The spotlight belongs to a “Pre-Series” Porsche Taycan, which clocked an impressive lap time of 7:07.55, surpassing not only its own previous record but also leaving the Tesla Model S Plaid in the dust.
Behind the wheel of the record-breaking Taycan was Porsche development driver Lars Kern, a seasoned professional who has played a key role in setting numerous lap records for the automaker.
