Watch A Pilot Land A Stunt Plane On The Helipad At The Top Of The Burj Al Arab In Dubai

Lukasz Czepiela, an airline pilot and Red Bull ambassador, has successfully completed a stunning bullseye landing of a plane on the Burj Al Arab helipad in Dubai, setting a new global record. The helipad, which is just 27 meters in diameter, witnessed its first plane take-off and landing.

In a video posted on Instagram by Visit Dubai, Czepiela is seen assessing the situation before making the remarkable landing. The landing was made without any reference points and at a height of 212 meters, which is the 56th floor of the hotel. The pilot revealed that 13 special modifications were made to the aircraft to decrease the weight as much as possible and ensure that the feat can be accomplished.

Mike Patey, an aviation engineer who was monitoring the situation on the helipad, ran in to hug and congratulate Czepiela, exclaiming, “You beautiful man!” This achievement is not only a personal milestone for Czepiela but also sets a new global record for the most difficult and daring landing ever made on a helipad.

Czepiela is an experienced pilot who has flown under Warsaw’s bridges and landed on the Sopot Pier in Europe. However, he ranks the Burj Al Arab landing as an “11 out of 10” in terms of difficulty. This landing required exceptional skills, focus, and precision from Czepiela, who executed the maneuver flawlessly.

The Burj Al Arab is one of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, known for its luxurious amenities and breathtaking architecture. The helipad, located at the top of the hotel, offers stunning views of the city skyline and the Arabian Gulf. The successful landing of a plane on the helipad adds another chapter to the hotel’s storied history and underscores Dubai’s reputation as a hub for innovation and adventure.

In conclusion, Czepiela’s bullseye landing of a plane on the Burj Al Arab helipad is a remarkable achievement that showcases his exceptional skills as a pilot. It also sets a new global record for the most challenging and daring landing ever made on a helipad.
