The Mobile World Congress brought a lot of things, including the Tab S3, Galaxy Book and also the much-anticipated Nokia 3310. To the Samsung lovers, it brought something much better that is the date of Galaxy S8 flagship event which is going to be held on Wednesday, March 29.
Samsung usually reveals all of its phones at the Mobile World Congress, and this will be the first time when the company will be holding an exclusive flagship event like Apple does, probably in an attempt to make up for the last year’s Note 7 disaster.
Samsung has gone all the way to compensate for the damage that the Note 7 did to the company sales, even as far as hoarding Snapdragon’s latest processor. The Galaxy S8 will be the first major flagship phone to feature the Snapdragon 835 processor. Rumors have revealed a spectacular nearly bezel-free curved AMOLED display for the new Galaxy S8.
The much-awaited flagship Galaxy S8 will be unveiled on March 29 at the event held at Lincoln Center in New York City on 11 am EST. Only the registered guests can attend this event, and you can register yourself here. Otherwise, you can watch the live stream of the same event on the Samsung website. Even after the revelation of the S8, you will have to wait until April 21 before the phone is launched worldwide and reaches your region.
