Oppo recently released a device by the name of R5 that is only 4.85 mm thick, however, another Chinese device manufacturer has left it behind by coming up with a 4.75 mm thick device.Vivo’s X5Max doesn’t pose a very visible difference when you look at it from practical point of view, however, it does support the 3.5mm headphone jack unlike the R5.World’s Thinnest Smartphone – Vivo X5Max World’s Thinnest Smartphone – Vivo X5Max 2

The X5Max resembles iPhone 5s and comes with a metallic rim, plastic bands on the rear at bottom and top while also sporting rounded corners. The phone is, however, larger than the iPhone 5s with a screen size of 5.5-inch and 1080p AMOLED while housing a 13 MP camera. X5Max has RAM worth 2GB and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 – an Octa-core chip that supports 64 bit. The chip has 4 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 and 4 1GHz Cortex-A53 cores in an ARM big.LITTLE configuration. The device currently runs on Android 4.4.4. However, when the phone gest the Lollipop the 64-bit support will spring into action.

The smartphone will cost you $490 and will not support LTE outside of China. So, who wants one?
