The driver of an 18-wheeler truck thought he had a flat tire. What he didn’t realise was that a Hyundai Sonata was stuck to the front end of his Peterbilt truck.
Fortunately, the Hyundai driver, Erin Reynolds, escaped injuries. Russell Neal, the driver of the 18-wheeler, pulled over on the side of the Interstate 69 to examine the smoke coming out the front of his truck. Imagine his surprise to find a Sonata crushed against the grill of the Peterbilt truck.
The Hyundai Sonata driver says the truck gave her the fright of her life when she saw the grill of the semi in her window:
“All I could think to do was pray and to hope that I wasn’t going to roll, because I figured if I rolled I was going to be in trouble. I don’t think it’s every day you see the grill of a semi in your driver’s side window that close.”
She scooted over to the passenger seat. Erin said that she was driving alongside the semi, and the next thing she knows is that she is trapped against the huge truck.
Russell Neal said he also felt a bump before he thought he had a blown tire. Just a bump, you see!
Do you think that the driver of the semi was really clueless about the car crushed against the grill of his truck? Let us know in comments!
