This is just the type of suit you would expect Bruce Wayne to wear when he is at a formal event without his Bat-suit. This bulletproof, air-conditioned, diamond encrusted suit is the most expensive suit in the world with a price tag of $3.2 million.
The suit is made by SuitArt, a Zurich-based company that specializes in making unique suits. According to them, the Diamond Armour suit is the “world’s most expensive men’s dress suit”. The suit has the ability to repel both bullets and stains. It is covered in 880 diamonds with the lapels and stitching featuring 600 black diamonds, while the jacket buttons have 280 embedded black diamonds.
The suit’s bulletproof aspect was developed by Croshield, a company that makes bulletproof vests and helmets, and has a protection classification of Level 2. This means that the suit can stop a bullet from anything between a 9mm pistol to a .57 Magnum.
The built-in air-conditioning is activated by the push of a button and uses the humidification of water to cool the wearer of the suit, even in the hottest of climates. Besides the keeping cool, the wearer of the Diamond Armour suit will also be able to maintain the clean crisp look of the suit thanks to the nanotech process used to create the outer layer which keeps it dirt and water resistant.
Accessories that are available with the suit include a tie made from 24-carat gold and a rare Carl F. Bucherer ‘Patravi Traveltec Fourex Limited Edition’ watch, which makes the price of the suit slightly higher.
If all of that wasn’t enough, the silk lining of the suit features a print of a painting by Costa Rican artist Luciano Goizueta.
The Diamond Armour suit is the ultimate in making a fashion statement. It is custom tailored for customers and details can be changed to meet their demands. The suit is not just a symbol of extravagance, it also represents the finest in engineering and how it can be applied to improve something as conventional and traditional as a suit.
