Brabus is one of the best tuners for the Mercedes AMG car range. It is known for its G-Wagon modifications worldwide, but it attempted something new this time. The Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ has been modified by Brabus with a custom aerodynamic body kit created in a wind tunnel.
A drag coefficient of 0.20 shows that the EQS 450+ is more effective than the stock model. According to Brabus, the improved body kit further lowers the drag coefficient by 7.2%. In addition, all the unique body pieces have a glossy, matte finish and are composed of carbon fibre.
Brabus has also modified the air suspension to decrease ride height by 15 mm in front and 20 mm in the rear. In addition, customers have a variety of possibilities for customizing the inside since they may select from a wide range of leather. Scuff plates with an illuminated Brabus emblem are also available in aluminium and carbon pedals.
Air deflectors are installed on the sides of the electric car before the rear arches and integrated into the side skirt. In addition, the large diffuser and spoiler can contribute up to 40% more aerodynamic lift at the back.
With the car moving at 62 to 87 mph speeds, the aero modifications give a 7.2 percent boost (100 to 140 kph). Furthermore, the EQS 450+ has a 120 kWh battery pack and an EPA range of 350 miles (563 kilometres), but with the Brabus tuning, it should theoretically travel 520 miles (840 kilometres) on a single charge.
If you enjoy sporty sedans, you’ll love the aesthetic appeal of the Brabus tweaks on the EQS, even though it’s a hatchback. The Brabus EQS has different front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and rims with carbon fibre inlays. In addition, there is an air deflector on the back of the tyre arches.
