The COVID-19 pandemic has left many of us working at home. Most of the roles that could be done without coming to the offices are suggested to be kept this way until the situation worldwide gets better. Offices and workplaces have been opening and closing in the past months, depending on the severity of the virus in an area.
The virus has had different effects on different businesses. Where some businesses have collapsed, others have earned tons of profits in the previous year. The world of IT has seen a boom like never before.
The demand for laptops in this time has increased, and ASUS has just brought in its lightweight, portable powerhouse called the ZenBook 13 OLED to meet the rising demands. ASUS’s new laptop is a perfect fit for work at home, given its features and new tech.
The lightweight ZenBook weighs 1.1 kgs and is as thin as 0.55 inches. It comes with a 13.3 inch OLED display with a Full HD resolution. Its screen is an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio and has 2.9-mm bezels.
Other key display features include 400 nits of brightness, Pantone-validated colors, and 100 percent support for the DCI-P3 color gamut. Its display is comfortable on the eyes thanks to its TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. The company claimed that their new device packs an ultrafast response time, although no figures are given.
It comes with two 11th Gen processing options, Core i5 and Core i7, with Iris graphics onboard, backed by a maximum of 16 GB RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage space.
It features Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6, and I/O ports are abundant too. It has two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C with power delivery. On its right edge, you can see a microSD slot as well.
Its chiclet keyboard is another key feature. It allows comfortable typing, and a hinge placed at the back of its body optimizes its user-friendliness. Moreover, it packs a Harman Kardon audio system for your perfect entertainment and work needs.
Asus has termed the new device as ‘portable workstation,’ the one you can count on. The ZenBook 13 OLED packs a 67-Wh lithium polymer battery that Asus claims will be good to go for 13 hours straight, which, if true, would be really worth your money. The 13 OLED comes at a price of U.S Dollar 900. Check out more on the new laptop in the video below.
