Bobcat, the construction equipment manufacturer, has launched the world’s first all-electric skid-steer loader, the S7X, with zero emissions. The S7X is powered by a 60.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that drives the electric motors and ball screw actuators for lift and tilt capabilities, enabling instantaneous torque up to three times greater than that of conventional loaders.
The loader’s electric powertrain is strong and produces remarkable performance characteristics.
