Did you know that Zambia has a booming demand for female entrepreneurs? Rwanda has the most women in parliament in the world? Pakistan is the hub of online searches for gay porn? And the highest number of pizza eaters per country reside in Norway?
At least that’s the case according to a map created by David McCandless from InformationIsBeautiful.net. He took data from various sources such as World Bank, United Nations, etc. and divided the results into nine categories, (commodity, psychology, ecology, gastronomy, economy, nicety, humanity, technology, and nasty).
While the results will certainly raise many eyebrows, it still is quite “revealing” to see how by stats and data define countries and their habits/priorities.
