This DIY Maker Has Created A Glow-In-The-Dark Magic Book – And Looks Amazing

If you plan on adding this glow-in-the-dark-magic book to your bucket list, you don’t need to have tens of thousands of dollars in your pockets. Recently, a Japanese DIY creator demonstrated his extraordinary skills on how to make this mind-numbing magic book all by yourself on his Twitter account. Last month, when he just shared the pictures of this incredible piece of art, the netizens went wild and showed huge interest in this amazing creation, which urged this DIY prop enthusiast to demonstrate the whole process. This Japanese DIY master, with a Twitter username of @mikel_cresson, named this a “magic book” and said that the materials for making this incredible book can be easily purchased from Amazon.

To give a vintage look to the pages of this magic book, the pages were first tarnished with coffee, and after this, they were lightly burned from the edges. In this way, it gave the appearance of an old, mysterious book. Moreover, he then decided to use regular scissors to cut the letters into an abstract shape, but the end result was not so satisfying. This is because the letters were giving a look of “cyber characters from The Matrix posters”. To cater to this issue, he then bought a pair of wavy scissors with a cross-section that ultimately gave a fantasy look and met his criteria.

The next step was to paste all these cut shapes into the vintage-looking pages of the book. The task seemed very simple at first, and according to DIY enthusiasts, this is the most straightforward piece of work. But it didn’t go as expected. Instead, it took him 9 freaking hours to paste all these letters onto the pages. As per the @mikel_cresson, sometimes he has to paste a single letter again and again because of its unadjustable nature. Finally, by getting rid of all these efforts, he said he would never put his hands on this task again because of its difficult nature.

Regardless of how good or bad the experience of making this magic book went, the end result is clearly a sight to behold. As soon as he shared the pictures and the video on his Twitter account, it accumulated views on the internet. His post went viral by gathering 200,000 likes and tens of thousands of retweets. People were even ready to purchase this unique piece at any cost, and we don’t know yet if @mikel_cresson will take any commissions for making this piece of art or not, but he already uploaded the procedure as well.
