Do you really need to travel to a tropical seaside resort when you can own a turquoise oasis with golden sand in your back yard? This is the question that a Louisiana construction company, Zydeco Construction, is hopeful will allow it to transform its custom backyard oasis into a bestseller.
If the cost was the same and you had to choose between a pool or a small pond and a tropical-looking swimming pool; which one would you choose? Zydeco Construction, LLC is hopeful that it is the latter and promises to create a magnificent and spectacular custom oasis for proving that it is totally worth the investment. Eric White is 33 years old and is the founder of Zydeco Construction, LLC. He claims that the oasis features turquoise water and is surrounded by fine sandy beaches for recreating the look and feel of a tropical summer destination. The swimming ponds can be made as big or as small as the property of the client will allow with prices starting from $20,000.
Eric White said, ‘It has always been a dream of mine to do these different things. I am all about figuring out a way to make things happen. I can look at any situation and come up with a way to fix it. I like to stay in the market for things that most companies don’t offer, especially custom requests.’ White has worked for more than fifteen years in the construction industry and also ran a pool-building company previously.
According to Eric White of Zydeco Construction, he has been contemplating this idea of tropical swimming ponds for years now. He has researched into ways of transforming regular ponds into locations that look stunning along with a patented specialty pump for them. He says, ‘Each pond that we do is customized for that area and for the customer. It isn’t something that can be done in a day, they are a true labor of love, and I want every customer that comes to me to be happy. We will do something different on every pond we create.’
Pictures of swimming ponds from Zydeco Construction went viral quite recently once they were published on Bored Panda. The reaction has been mixed; many love the idea, whereas others question the practicability of this idea. One person said, ‘How do you clean this is my question. And for 20 thousand does that include maintenance, because you’d need new sand every year.’
What do you think of the oasis by Zydeco Construction?
