Nissan calls it the WORKSPACe, which is a stylish mobile office design based on zero emissions all electric van. The design is a result of Nissan’s collaboration with a UK-based design workshop Studio Hardie, and the van office entails everything that you could get in a traditional office.

This high-tech van offers the facility of wireless internet to go with a touchscreen computer and an integrated fold-out desk, giving you all the tools to create a  fully functional workspace. To make it even more tech savvy, the van has remote controlled LED lights, Bluetooth audio system, along with smartphone-wireless phone charging, barista-quality coffee machine, and even a mini fridge.

Gareth Dunsmore, Director of Electric Vehicles, Nissan Europe said,

“With property prices in our capital cities at such a premium and the modern professional needing to be ever more mobile, businesses will need to think smart and consider what the workplace of the future looks like. With hot-desking and remote working on the rise, it is not too big a leap to see a future where our vehicles will become connected, energy efficient, mobile workspaces and the e-NV200 WORKSPACe project could become more than just a concept.”

And in case you are worried about the power requirements, the e-NV200 WORKSPACe can charge from zero to 80 percent in just 30 min, and costs only €3.00 per 100 kilometers! The single battery charge gives a range of up to 170 km, meaning you can go about your business anywhere without a hassle.

Nissan didn’t forget about the interior, and the e-NV200 WORKSPACe’s customizable LED floor lighting and unique panoramic glass roof makes the station look a lot more spacious. The boundaries can even be opened by side sliding and splitting rear doors, which makes your van convert into an open-air office as well.

It has two chrome and leather desk chairs installed side-by-side, with the drawer based mini fridge and the Bluetooth speaker installed between them. All in all, this is surely the coolest way to travel and work we have seen to date!
