The Pokémon Go experts advise you to lug around mobile charging packs. However, the hassle of carrying a charging pack around is too much trouble. PokéDex smartphone case offers you a stylish alternative.

In future, Nintendo may release a customised battery pack itself. However, this 3D printed case is the perfect solution available right now. The designer aims to add more batteries and cooling fans in his next design. He already has released the files on GitHub so you can print one for your own phone at home.

NPOOLE explained the design saying:

“A 18650 lithium cell supplies backup power for your cell phone through a USB microB Plug Breakout mounted in the bottom of the Pokédex. To charge your smartphone, the 3.7v output of the 18650 needs to be boosted to 5v, which is where the SparkFun Power Cell comes in. There isn’t really a particular place for any of the components besides the USB plug and the LEDs, so I just stuck everything down with heavy duty doublestick foam tape. [Just] make sure the power switch and the USB charging port for the Power Cell are accessible once everything is mounted.”

Once you are done with printing a PokéDex smartphone case for your smartphone, don’t forget to share it with the Pokémon Go community. Se more images for the battery case below:
