These New Portable Solar Panels Could Power Your Next Vacation

Anker, a charging technology company, recently announced the release of a line of portable solar panels in a TikTok video. These panels are designed specifically for RVs, providing a way to power essential features like lighting, hot water, and climate control while on the road.

RVs are a popular choice for weekend getaways or even full-time living, as they offer the comfort of a small home with the flexibility of a car. However, until recently, RVs were limited in terms of travel destinations due to the need for a power hookup.

Now, with the advancements in solar panel technology, RV travel is more accessible than ever before. Anker’s new solar panels are designed to provide greater independence for RVers, allowing them to explore off-grid locations.

In the video shared by @ankerpowerofficial, a representative demonstrates the convenience of portable solar panels. The panels are foldable, compact, and easy to move around, with a size comparable to that of a large briefcase. Moreover, they are usable in any weather conditions, making them a reliable source of power for RVers.

“One reason I’m so excited about these is because they are waterproof,” says the rep in the video. “Having to constantly put up the panels can get old. These, you can just leave them out.”

Anker’s PowerHouse 767 battery can be paired with up to five of their portable solar panels, each providing 200 watts of power. This feature is especially beneficial for campers, road trippers, and digital nomads, as it eliminates the concern of running out of power while exploring remote locations.

“That’s 1,000 watts! That’s enough to sustain most RVs, especially if they’re not running AC.”

Now, with the ability to charge your RV using solar panels, you have the freedom to travel wherever your heart desires without the added expense of charging fees.

This new level of independence allows you to appreciate natural wonders such as mountains, canyons, and forests without having to worry about power limitations.

Furthermore, transitioning to solar power means that we can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and decrease the amount of pollution caused by power plants.

By using solar energy, we can help preserve the environment for generations to come, ensuring that these natural settings remain clean and healthy.
