The World’s Largest Aquarium Is Nearing Completion

There is a huge marine park just about to be completed in the United Arab Emirates. It will be open for visitors in the next year. the arena is being called the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi that will host tens of thousands of marine species across five levels, along with the designated research center to prioritize their conservation.

Yas Island, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will span 183,000 sq m (1,969,795 sq ft) of floor space across its five indoor stories. There will be several areas of interest like interactive exhibits, an immersive ride detailing a visual journey from the North Pole to the South Pole, and what is known as the largest aquarium in the world.

It will have 25 million liters of water (6.6 million gal). A staggering amount of 68,000 marine animals like sharks, fish, manta rays, and sea turtles will be there. This may be best enjoyed through what is called the “Endless Vista,” a 20-meter-tall (65-ft) vertical window covering various levels with vivid views.

There will also be the Yas Island SeaWorld Research and Rescue Center, which will serve as the United Arab Emirates’ first designated marine research, rescue, and rehabilitation center. Visitors will also be able to learn about the research and visit the centers for education.

The construction is 64 percent complete and will be entirely done in 2022.
