Samsung is expanding its Galaxy S25 lineup this year with an exciting new addition—the Galaxy S25 Slim.
The Galaxy S25 Slim measures just 6.4 mm thick, making it slimmer than the Galaxy S24+ and its expected successor, the S25+. At its camera bump, the device is slightly thicker, reaching 8.3 mm, but it still maintains a remarkably slender profile compared to other models in the S25 family. It boasts a 6.7 to 6.8-inch display, likely matching the dimensions of the S25+.
Samsung appears to have taken inspiration from its other S25 models for the Slim’s design, maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. The device is rumored to feature a powerful 200 MP main camera using the ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera with the ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Slim will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM, delivering top-tier performance. It will run Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7, providing users with the latest software advancements from day one.
Although the Slim is set to be teased at the Samsung Unpacked event on January 22, it won’t officially launch alongside the rest of the S25 lineup. Instead, the device is expected to hit the market in May. However, there’s a potential downside to its ultra-thin design—a previous rumor hinted at a compromised battery capacity, which may impact its overall appeal for heavy users.

The Galaxy S25 Slim promises to combine cutting-edge technology with an incredibly sleek form factor, making it an intriguing option for fans of slim smartphones. While questions remain about its battery life, the device’s powerful hardware and innovative design are likely to make it a standout in the competitive smartphone market.
