Every year on 1st April, we see posts and announcements for bizarre things or things that are too good to be true. Keeping with this spirit, this guy from Denmark created their own version of what could be the RTX 4090. Considering how cards were getting larger, and their cooling systems were getting bigger, he created something ridiculous but true in a funny way.
Kasper Andersen, A PC builder from Denmark, made an RTX 4090 out of a mix-match of old defective parts. The fans were taken from old PCs and the outer body was made using a 3D printer. Andersen said that all of the body took under 2 months to make. This isn’t the first time Andersen has made stuff like this. It is like a tradition for him to come up with bizarre concepts for April fools day.
The card looks a little powerful, we may be able to play Minecraft at 16K finally. The reported spec match up with how the card looks with 18,000 CUDA cores, 232 cores, 2,169MHz boost clock, 46GB GDDR7 VRAM, and a whopping 1000W of power. You can watch this original video below. The RTX 3090 was a small lizard then this card would be a dinosaur. Imagine the bitcoins you could mine with this thing. Also, imagine how when an RTX 4090 actually comes, the bots will buy it up as usual and they’ll going for double their MSRP on eBay.
