The Bestseller Tower Will Be Western Europe’s Tallest Tower

A Danish businessman by the name of Anders Holch Povlsen, known for his fashion labels; Vero Moda, and Jack and Jones, is getting ready to create a skyscraper in a remote village in the country’s west. The skyscraper is called The Bestseller Tower and is slated to be 320 meters tall. Once The Bestseller Tower is complete, it will be the tallest building in Western Europe.

The tower is being built in the small town of Brande that will soon become well-known thanks to The Bestseller Tower. The tower is set to be designed by the famous architectural studio Dorte Mandrup. The studio is making sure that they are able to get the tallest European building title by making The Bestseller Tower 10.4 meters taller than the Shard in London. Anders Krogh Vogdrup, head of construction for Bestseller, said, ‘It will be a landmark that places Brande on the map.’

The fast-fashion label bestseller was founded back in 1975. The owner says that it is about time that he reciprocated in kindness to the town that has housed the headquarters of the business for over forty years. Krogh Vogdrup said, ‘We have been very happy to have our home in Brande, and we feel we are a natural part of the local community.’ In words of Krogh Vogdrup, The Bestseller Tower is being built to ‘give something back to the town.’

The local council has already approved the building permit for the tower. Jutland is famous for its flat and featureless landscape. The land is so flat that you will be able to see the tower from as far away as 60 kilometers. The visitors to the tourist sights in the area including Jelling will be able to see the tower easily.

The tower’s construction has met no opposition so far. In fact, some of the Danish news sources describe the Best Seller brand as a cult with Anders Holch Povlsen, its leader. The details of what the Bestseller Tower will house have yet to be announced. However, it is certain that the tower will soon become an icon in the region!
