The record for world’s tallest 3D printed human sculpture is held by James Burton. He collaborated with the University of Portsmouth and created a 3D scan of himself which was turned into a digital 3D model. It took 50 kg of printer filament and 500 hours to print the sculpture.
All the parts were designed in such a way that they had a flat side and were glued together afterward. The world’s tallest 3D printed human sculpture is twice the height of Burton and stands at 3.62 meters. You can check it out for yourself in the video below:
