Samsung Creates A Touchscreen Piano From 100 Galaxy Tab S2s

Samsung Piano from Galaxy S2 Tablet

The marketing tactics of smartphone and tablet PC manufacturing companies know no bounds, as they turn to genius ideas to help promote their newest smart products off the shelf. Samsung just launched the latest series of Galaxy S2 tablets in 8 inches and 9.7 inches and thought it would be a great stunt to make a piano from a hundred S2 tabs and invite a famous pianist to play on it and promote their campaign.

Myleene Klaas, a famed English pianist was invited to come and perform for them on the unique upright piano that was entirely made up from Galaxy S2 tabs. Klaas was excited to be the first person to be able to play on such an amazing device like this. The Galaxy S2 tabs have some impressive specs and performance with the latest Android package. Both 8-inch and 9.7-inch tabs have a 1536 x 2048 resolution with an 8 MP rear camera and 2.1 MP at the front. The processor is Exynos 7 Octa 5433 1.9 GHz along with 3 GB of RAM. The tech giant has also worked remarkably to reduce their weight and make it thinner than ever. It is currently being sold in retail for around 380 $.

Klaas enjoyed her experience at the wonderful piano. I don’t know how much professional pianos cost but this one-time baby was composed of 100 tabs that is about 38,000 $. That’s quite a lot of money! But if it aids the company sales on Christmas, 38,000$ will probably be peanuts compared to what the company has earned.
