Morsel Spork Is A Complete Camping Utensil Made After 18 Months Of Engineering

(Source: New Atlas)

Spending 18 months on something like a camping spork means making something truly special. That is what the creators of the Morsel Spork had in mind. It has all the normal things that you would expect. It has a fork side and a spoon side. It also has a cutting edge. But, these are all things that you can expect from a normal spork.

However, it differs from a traditional spork in a way that all of these contraptions are not concealed on one end of the device but are separated from each other with a long handle that allows the Morsel Spork to be used as a cooking tool as well.

It is better than a spoon in the aspect that it has a rubber edge going around the outside of the spoon and halfway down the handle on one side. This gives it a spatula-like capability of scraping things completely clean. This allows you to get the ingredients out of the tightest corners of a container.

The shape has been designed in such a way that it can reach deep into pots and poke into corners. It can clean off the lip edges of the pots and scrape the side walls. It can scrape from any flat area and over odd shapes as well.

The Morsel Spork can be used in a dishwasher. It can be boiled. It can be cooked with. It can be used for eating and to some extent cleaning. The possibilities are endless. Those 18 months of engineering did not go to waste after all. However, it is a tad bit more expensive than a normal spork and is set to a retail price of $13.
