McDonald’s Limited Edition Adult Happy Meal Toys Are Selling For $300,000

You might have enjoyed the perks of the McDonald’s happy meal, but recently, McDonald’s has dropped some impressive specifications regarding the deal and rolled out its new “adult happy meal” in order to revive the sentiments of “nostalgia,” especially for its Gen Y customers. To implement this initiative, McDonald’s has collaborated with the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box, and the results show that the reach has considerably increased through the collaboration. Hence, despite its efforts to engage with the customers directly, some “opportunistic resellers” are taking advantage of the situation and selling happy meals at inflated rates.

The collaboration of Mcdonald’s with the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box has made it able to target inaccessible customers as the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box is available at almost all of the McDonald’s outlets across the country. This demonstrates that the only way to target the desired customers for this venture can be achieved through a “secondary market”. However, a single happy meal box consists of a big mac combo meal or some pieces of chicken nuggets along with a toy. And it has been revealed that some resellers are selling the deal with exuberant prices and customers are even willing to purchase, just to re-visit their forgotten emotions attached to the meal.

One of the most intriguing things to note is that one seller on eBay shared that he is selling the happy meal box of unopened toys for a whopping $300,000 and it will contain one of the four possible toys i.e., Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie and the mascot Cactus Buddy. Along with the price details, the seller added a small caption saying, “WILL SELL FAST!!” Not only this, but another seller has also done the same thing and bids $25,000 for an unopened Happy Meal Toy. In addition to this, he explained that if the person got exactly what they predicted out of the toys from the box, then the winner would be liable to pay another $6.10 as shipping fees. This is crazy, isn’t it?

To that end, the meals are selling really fast in this way and recently Mcdonald’s has also announced that it is going to open another chain in the form of “Halloween Happy Meal pails”. It should be noted that Mcdonald’s first got along with this deal in 2016 but was closed since then and it will be the first time that the deal is finally reopening, as you know, Halloween is just around the corner!
