Mark Zuckerberg Is A Blue Belt In Jiu-Jitsu Now, And Elon Musk Might Want To Watch Out

Mark Zuckerberg, the co-founder and CEO of Meta (previously Facebook), is in the news once more, but not for his ground-breaking technological endeavors. Zuckerberg has been actively learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and he recently stated that he has reached a crucial turning point in his martial arts training by being raised to a blue belt.

On his Instagram page, the tech tycoon announced the wonderful news and posted pictures to mark the event. In the photos, Zuckerberg is pictured standing next to his coach, fifth-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Dave Camarillo, who is well-known for his work with renowned actor Keanu Reeves. Zuckerberg thanked his trainer for teaching him important lessons about life and fighting during their training sessions.

During the COVID lockdown, Zuckerberg had this wild idea to learn jiu-jitsu. It was an uphill battle of bruises and defeat at first. But over time, he developed a passion for it and now he practices jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts 3-4 times a week! All his grit and dedication paid off in the end.

Mark Zuckerberg’s worked out all kinds of ways: surfing, CrossFit, a lil’ jiu-jitsu… he even used to run. But after noticing it caused him too much head-space, he dropped that and went for a more balanced approach. Now? That creates an all-around fit body and mind.

Mark Zuckerberg’s jiu-jitsu skills are taking off. He recently put them to the test in a tournament, taking home both silver and gold medals. That said, he was quick to give credit where it was due, citing his amazing coaches for helping him achieve such success.

As word of Zuckerberg’s advancement to blue belt spreads, the internet is buzzing with rumors of a potential confrontation between him and Elon Musk, another powerful industry figure. In the past, the CEO of Tesla facetiously challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match, thrilling their supporters. Although there has been no confirmation of this event, it is clear that Zuckerberg is tenacious in his quest for martial arts expertise.

For the time being, Zuckerberg concentrates on improving his jiu-jitsu techniques and pushing himself. Whether or not a cage match with Musk is in the works, one thing is for sure: Mark Zuckerberg is still going strong in both the IT industry and on the Brazilian jiu-jitsu mats.
