Apple has launched its new models; iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus 3 week ago. Despite the fact that experts had given the verdict that there’s nothing in these phones that Android hasn’t offered already, it came as a surprise when gigantic queues were seen outside Apple stores to purchase these new phones.
Amazingly, there is also news that about 5 million of these iPhones will be ending up in Chinese black market where they will be sold for 3 times their actual price. The gold iPhones are already being advertised in China for a whooping price of $3,600. London witnessed quite a large number of people outside the Covent Garden and Regent Street was getting packed with people and their tents. The idea was to get your hands on the iPhone first and it would seem that quite a large number wanted in on the race.
The awaiting soon-to-be iPhone owners outside the Birmingham store spread in an area over 100 meters in length and you would be surprised to know but the iPhone was sold out in about ten minutes at this store. Meanwhile in China, due to licensing delays, the resellers made quite an amount of money and the delay in launching of iPhone resulted in huge profit margins.
If you look at it as a whole, once can’t really find the reason why people are going all crazy over purchasing an iPhone that offers them something that has already been in the market since 2012. Well, guess the brand loyalty still exists. Any of you who owns the new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and cares to let us know how you feel, feel free to comment below!
