Intel has just released the new generation of laptop processors. The new 11th Gen Intel Core processors have been code-named Tiger lake. They possess a high-speed performance in comparison to their predecessors in office work, content creation, and gaming.
There are nine varied configurations in the Tiger Lake processors, inclusive of the crosswise Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 labels. Willow Cove is the latest CPU architecture on which it has been created. It uses Intel’s 10-nm SuperFin technology. These processors are capable of running up to four cores and eight threads, with upper limit clock speeds of 4.8 GHz. Iris Xe, the integrated GPU by Intel, is used in backing up the higher-end models of these processors.
The new chips have built-in WiFi 6 for connectivity and can handle up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports for data, video, and charging. This makes the device capable of supporting 8K HDR monitors and up till 4K HDR displays simultaneously.
In comparison to its predecessors and competitor products available in the market, the newly released processors are up to 20 percent more efficient for ‘Office productivity,’ as per intel. Its twice as swift for video editing, 2.7 times faster for photo-editing, as well as for gaming and streaming.
Based on the numbers alone, the title for Intel’s most advanced and fastest laptops still belongs to Comet Lake H Series, which was released earlier this year. But the purpose of the 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors is to be used in thin and light laptops rather than being used to run Doom External on its highest graphics available.
Over the next few months, Intel anticipates that around 150 designs are expected to make use of the 11th Gen Intel Core processors, including companies like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Samsung, LG, Razor, and many others. Website related to laptops currently has reviewed the new 11th Gen as well.
