Honor has introduced the new Honor 600, positioning it as a budget-friendly smartphone with a notably high-end specification sheet. The device combines premium display features, a large battery, and a modern chipset, all packaged in a design that closely resembles Apple’s iPhone lineup.
The Honor 600 features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate. One of its standout elements is a claimed peak HDR brightness of 8,000 nits, although this level is limited to specific streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Video. The device runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 512GB, as reported by 9to5Google.
In terms of hardware, the phone includes a dual-camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens that also supports macro photography. The device carries an IP68, IP69, and IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, indicating a strong focus on durability. Despite housing a large 7,000 mAh battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim 7.8mm profile and weighs around 190 grams. It also supports 80W fast charging and incorporates a range of AI-driven features within Android 16.
Honor is also offering a higher-end variant, the Honor 600 Pro. This model upgrades to a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offers configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It adds a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and introduces wireless charging support, expanding its appeal to users seeking more advanced capabilities.

Pricing places the Honor 600 in the upper midrange category. In Malaysia, it is listed at RM2,599, which converts to roughly $650. European pricing starts at €649.99, though the EU variant comes with a slightly smaller 6,400 mAh battery. Availability in the United States has not been announced.
A notable aspect of the launch is the device’s design, which strongly resembles recent iPhone models. From the camera layout to the overall rear panel styling, the similarities are difficult to overlook. Honor has previously explored similar design choices in other models, and this approach now appears to extend into its more affordable lineup.
