Harley-Davidson Unveils Electric Bikes For 3-7 Years Old Kids

Harley-Davidson needs to find a way to get its bikes into the hand of younger riders, that is something that we all agree on, but the fact that it would be targeting riders this young is something that no one would have thought. The company has announced a pair of electric balance bikes for 3-5 and 5-7 year-olds; IronE12 and IronE16.

The IronE12 has been designed for 3-5 years old kids and comes with 12-inch wheels, 13-inch seat height, and weighs only 7.7 kilograms. The IronE16 has been designed for the 5-7 years old kids and features 16-inch wheels, a 17-inch seat height, and weighs in at 8.6 kilograms. Both electric bikes by Harley-Davidson make use of rigid forks, electric hub motors, and small removable batteries that can provide you with 30-60 minutes of rides for every 30-60 minutes of charging.

Harley-Davidson won’t be providing any power figures, staying true to its traditions. However, the electric bikes will have red, yellow, and green power modes with speed limiters on each. The IronE16 in green more will have a top speed of 11 mph. Harley-Davidson is trying to bring the age of its average customer down, and the initiative sure is a great one. The company has been working on increasing its electric motorcycle pool.

It recently released the expensive Livewire electric street bike while also teasing smaller machines that are closer to scooters and e-bikes. The electric bikes unveiled by the company cost $649 for the small one and $699 for the bigger one. Considering everything, we are sure that the IroneE scooters will be a great success and help kids look really amazing with their Harley-Davidson electric bikes!
