Batman fans, are you ready? Ready for what? To have this awesome Batarang in your hands and to actually feel like the Dark Knight when you throw it at the bull’s eye. Batarang, for those of you who are not aware, is a bat-shaped throwing weapon that is used by Batman for subduing his enemies. You can actually see Batman using a variant of Batarang in Batman v Superman trailer – this particular one folds up when not in use. Patrick Priebe just couldn’t let this slip past him and has created his very own foldable Batarang.
The Priebe’s fan-made Batarang features two stainless steel blades/wings at the heart of it. He suggests that if you’re not going to hurl this Batarang at anything, then you can even build these using aluminium, which is more cost-effective.
It sports a dual-spring mechanism that connects the wings together at a pivot point that has been placed in the middle, thus holding the blades down. By pushing down on a button, the springs are released and the wings snap open.
