Footage Shows A Russian Helicopter Exploding Into A Huge Fireball After Being Hit By A Ukrainian Missile

A video recently circulated on social media showed a Russian helicopter exploding into a flame after being hit by a Ukrainian missile. The plane was shot down in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region, where much of Russia’s army is still stationed.

The chopper was seen whirling in circles as it plummeted from the skies in the footage. A plume of smoke filled the air from the wreckage before it exploded into flames. It comes after Russian troops are said to have demolished bridges over the Seversky Donets river.

According to a local official, soldiers in Sievierodonetsk town attempt to prevent Ukrainian reinforcements from providing aid to civilians.

Serhiy Gaidai, governor of Luhansk, said that Ukrainian soldiers are holding their positions and fighting back despite the onslaught.

According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia presently occupies around 20% of Ukraine’s territory. However, Russian soldiers are thought to be weakening, and confidence in their humiliating invasion has dwindled due to terrible losses.

Russia has lost 30,000 soldiers, hundreds of tanks and aircraft, and even ships, including its Black Sea flagship, the Moskva. In “tank graveyards,” burned-out Russian vehicle carcasses litter the Ukrainian countryside.

Furthermore, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian forces had killed civilians. On Saturday, he added, Russian shelling struck an early 17th century Ukrainian Orthodox monastery in war-torn eastern Ukraine, burning a church in flames.

However, Russia’s Defense Ministry denied any involvement and accused Ukrainian troops of torching the All Saints church before withdrawing.

Russia has been unable to achieve any of its primary military objectives after more than 100 days of the conflict. As a result, weakened and exhausted Russian forces were ordered to leave Kyiv in April.
